Wood Floor Refinishing

Complete sanding (down to bare wood) and refinishing of wood flooring. We offer oil based and water based finishes. Floors may be natural, or stained in a variety of colors.

Wood Installation

We install a wide variety of unfinished wood flooring, from oak and maple to birch and pine...and everything in between. We also install prefinished, engineered and laminate flooring. Have questions?....Give us a call.

Wood Repair and Restoration

Have wood floors but with some damaged boards or unsightly stains? We can repair boards or sections of wood flooring. Some stains may sand out , but other stains (like dark rings or blotches from standing water, or pet urine stains) may permeate the grain. These types of stains often require removing affected boards and replacing them. We can blend repair areas into your existing floor.

Recoating / Maintenace

If your wood floors are in pretty good shape but showing wear or dullness, we can buff them and apply a fresh coat of polyurethane.

Staining

We can stain your wood floors to create a beautiful, rich tone to accent your home decor.

Some great things happened back in 1969.......astronaut Neil Armstrong became the first man to set foot on the Moon, and our first customers set foot on their beautifully refurbished floors when Young's Floor & Remodeling was founded 50 years ago. We are now a second generation family owned business which has been steadily serving Baltimore and surrounding areas for decades.
